I am absolutely delighted to provide a review for Spring Skin! As someone who had been going to Vancouver several times a year for skin care, I was thrilled to discover Spring Skin right here on Salt Spring island. Immediately I received friendly and knowledgeable service from the office manager and my initial consult was an absolute delight! The clinic itself is lovely and inviting. I had all my questions answered and left with a treatment plan. My treatments have all gone as expected and I am in love with the results. Spring Skin will now be a regular part of my self care and skin care routines and I cannot wait to go back and try more of what they have to offer. Vancouver level treatments and service right here on Salt Spring – simply fantastic!

…Dr vanVliet is amazing; I told her my wishes and fears and I could tell she really listened and went right into how she could support me. I felt confident as I could see she was really committed to the same outcome and more. She created a treatment plan for me that I could do as time allowed. I got injectables, including filler and BBL treatments.

I was nervous about Dysport, as in the past, I had had bad experiences. She was really careful, and my brow did not push down as it had done in the past. She also added some dermal fillers to my cheeks and temples, and what a difference! I am beyond grateful to have a professional Plastic Surgeon on SSI to see – with her extensive studies, and her caring demeanour we are really lucky to have her. I now look like myself, just a better version .. and more rested looking.

I have had 2 BBL procedures at Spring Skin Clinic on Salt Spring island and I cannot say enough good things about it!! First, the staff are friendly and helpful. Second, Dr vanVliet takes her time examining you and telling you what options she thinks are best while smiling and making you feel comfortable. Third, the BBL procedure is amazing! I could see a huge difference after the first week and I have a lot of sun damage. My husband noticed it too and couldn’t believe it! This was a gift to myself for my 60th. I am so happy I did it! My face looks 10 years younger (not kidding)!

While I did not tend to my skin in my youth, over the past 15 years I have protected my face from the sun and taken good care of that organ. Since I started going to Spring Skin less than a year ago Ive had several Spring Skin glow treatments, a 2-in-1 super treatment that combines a HydraFacial MD treatment with BBL HERO to correct pigmentation and reverse skin aging. The HydraFacial MD is always relaxing and a great prep that leaves my skin feeling hydrated and thoroughly cleansed before the BBL treatment. Unlike many BBL machines, BBL HERO is more potent and less painful – the light ray is just a tiny zap as it moves along – so you’re getting more light energy into your skin and are way more comfortable during the process. In just a few treatments, the redness in my face is gone and my skin feels super smooth and healthy. The team at Spring Skin are always attentive and make me feel entirely comfortable throughout the treatment. Every appointment is a pleasure.
